Profile

I am Chairperson of the Australian Innovation Management Institute (AIMI), where I am working to advance innovation management as a professional discipline in Australia. Through this work, I am actively engaged in conversations around innovation capability, standards-aligned practice, leadership development, and the practical systems needed to make innovation real inside organisations.

I also play broader ecosystem and governance roles, including as Chair of the Blak Angels Investment Network, an Ambassador of the Global Council for Innovation Organisations (GCIO), and a member of the Western Australian Government Innovation Advisory Board.

With more than 25 years of experience across Australia, China, and international markets, I bring a combination of strategic, commercial, and institutional perspective. My background spans innovation, business growth, cross-border engagement, advisory work, investment, and ecosystem development.

I hold globally recognised innovation management credentials and am currently undertaking doctoral research focused on how innovation capability is built and operationalised. I am also the author of Making Innovation Real: A Practical Guide to Innovation Management.

My work is grounded in a simple belief: innovation creates the most value when it is approached intentionally, managed systematically, and connected to strategy, capability, and execution.
